The North Carolina Commission on Volunteerism and Community Service is overseen by a 25-member Commission appointed by the Governor. Commissioners serve three-year staggered terms and represent the geographic and demographic diversity of the state.

Vice Chair- Ms. Jane Carver

Committees- The Board is organized into several committees to carry out the goals and mission of the NC Commission on Volunteerism. These include the Executive, Nomination, and Program Management Committees which are all standing. Ad-hoc committees of Finance, Public Relations and Marketing, Outreach and Advocacy, and Public Policy comprise the remainder of the current Commission structure.
