State Service Plan

The work of the Commission is guided by the three-year State Service Plan for North Carolina. Created through the efforts of many community partners across the state, the Plan is a strategy for coordinating national service and state volunteer service activities across all streams of service in North Carolina.

The current Plan was developed after thoughtful reflection upon the accomplishments of the previous Plan and a careful analysis of the current programmatic priorities of the State. All community service and volunteerism organizations in the state are invited to share in the vision and goals of this Plan and offer their insight, suggestions and efforts to the process.
